At The Women’s Organisation, we are dedicated to maintaining a leading business network, and so we bring you: WO Connect.
WO Connect (formerly Business Club) is built on three core values: connecting, sharing and supporting. It is a gathering of like-minded women in business and a way to meet and learn from people just like you.
Designed for both new and established women-led businesses, our regular events are inclusive, safe, welcoming and, above all, insightful. You will leave with new contacts and role models, buzzing with ideas and inspiration to build your business.
We offer two types of membership: Women in Business membership and Corporate membership. Whether a business-owner or an employee of, our members represent a broad range of industries.
Benefits include discounted prices to networking events, priority booking to exclusive events, plus receiving, and the opportunity to contribute to, regular e-newsletters.
Women in Business membership
WO Connect allows you to support, share, and connect with other female-led businesses. Our Women in Business membership is for women business owners who are looking to grow and expand.
WO Connect is here to help you make those key business connections and contacts through regular networking, in a safe and welcoming environment. We are also passionate about celebrating enterprising women through our sponsored awards event, which recognises the achievements of local women in business.
In 2020, we opened up WO Connect for companies to network with local businesses.
Our corporate membership is designed for established companies who wish to invest in growing their female leadership pipeline, and to support and make connections with emerging, local businesses – a membership for your business, not an individual.
As well as sharing advice and supporting our Women in Business members, our Corporate membership includes a corporate social responsibility pack and sponsorship opportunities, plus the ability to book five discounted tickets for additional members of staff.
WO Connect does not have a membership fee as such. As a registered charity, we are always seeking financial support to pay for our essential work; to join WO Connect, all we ask is a one-time donation to fund the running of events and help us continue our support for women in business.
The minimum donation is £25 for Women in Business members; for Corporate members, £250. You can pay by PayPal invoice, cheque, cash or credit card.
In response to COVID-19, we have redesigned our WOConnect events to operate on a virtual basis.
How to join
To join, simply fill in our application form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once this step is completed, we can take your donation, and then you are a member!
Once you have joined, we will invite you to join the closed LinkedIn and Facebook groups where you can immediately start networking with other members. You will also then be able to take advantage of reduced booking rates for our upcoming events and other benefits.
