54 St James St, is located between Norfolk and Watkins Street, Liverpool, L1 0AB, adjacent to Chinatown and Liverpool One. Please note it should NOT be confused with James Street, Liverpool.   

Parking and travel to the venue

Here at 54 St James Street we know that small changes can make a big difference! As a community we’re always looking for ways to reduce our eco footprint. That’s why we encourage any visitors to our building to use public transport or green methods of travel as their first option. Together we can work together to make 54 St James Street a greener and more environmentally conscious space.

A bike store is also accessible to the rear of the building

1 – Central Train Station (approx. 15-minute walk)

By bus….
3 – Paradise St Bus Station (approx. 10-minute walk)
To St James Street 26 (going towards Liverpool 1), 27 (leaving Liverpool 1), stop on St James Street

By car….

Please be aware parking is difficult so please allow yourself plenty of time to find a parking space, or alternatively seek public transport (Our building is a short 10 minute walk from Liverpool One bus stops). For South Liverpool residents Arriva Click is available (https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/arrivaclick/). FREE on-street parking is available subject to availability with a 2-hour maximum stay between 8am and 6pm in any parking bay marked “Business Permit Bay”. Unfortunately we cannot control external factors, and parking is not always guaranteed. 

We have limited spaces in our private car park which can be pre-booked for £6 per space or FREE for blue badge holders. Please call 0151 706 8100 to arrange.  

For alternative parking, there are several car parks nearby:
A – Jamaica Street Car Park L1 0AN, (approx. 1-minute walk) 
B – King Park, Kings Dock Street L1 8LE, (approx. 7-minute walk) 
C – Cains Brewery L8 5XJ, (approx. 10-min walk) situated near Baltic Market
Parkopedia.co.uk can direct you to other local parking locations and give exact costs for the duration of your stay
NB: The Chung Wah car park is for patrons of the supermarket

 

Opening hours

Reception is staffed from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. This could be subject to negotiations for evening and weekend events.

All rooms have natural ventilation as well as locally controlled heating and cooling systems.  Lighting is controlled by external brightness levels and internal activation to conserve energy consumption.  All waste is put forward for recycling. Sustainability is integral to the building design and in line with BREEAM Excellent standards.
